Company Overview

HISTORY

Founded

Established in 2024 as an income-generating entity supporting the Yasashil Foundation — a non-profit organisation driving educational and social impact. Formerly known as Pusat Pengajian Satelit Universiti (PPSU)

Origins

Built on the entrepreneurial work of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahrul Mizan Ismail and his team, with roots in UKM-collaborated gamified learning tools — including The Appeal Matter, an award-winning legal board game.

Evolution

YFA has grown into a multi-disciplinary organisation focused on education innovation, strategic collaborations, and creative learning solutions — working across academia, industry, and institutional partners to develop impactful, industry-aligned programmes.

2026 Priority — Work Play Labs Expansion

A key strategic focus is scaling Work Play Labs, YFA's gamification and innovation arm. Products include board games, card games, intensive training modules, and interactive tools — positioning YFA as a leader in gamification-driven learning across Malaysia and beyond.
